2019 – 5th Annual Hell in the Harbour
Hell in the Harbour takes place across a 6km course spanning Hamilton’s beautiful waterfront and features over 17 obstacles. We are also excited to announce that the fan favorite, the H.M.C.S. Haida, is ‘on-board’ once again for 2019. Participants will get the opportunity to climb aboard this treasured piece of history on their way to the finish line! Obstacles are designed with multiple fitness levels in mind and will challenge participants’ physical strength and mental toughness all while having fun for a great cause!
Hell in the Harbour will offer a ‘competitive/timed’ category to satisfy those with a competitive edge and who want to see how their time stacks up against the rest and a ‘just for fun’ category for participants who want to take on each obstacle at their own pace and see what Hell in the Harbour is all about! Please see the Registration Section for more details!
Hell in the Harbour is a family friendly event that is open to spectators and supporters! The event also includes a post-race celebration with live entertainment and plenty of great vendors to refuel with. Whether you plan on tackling the obstacles first-hand, cheering on participants as a spectator or showing your support as a volunteer, Hell in the Harbour will be an exciting event for everyone! Admission for spectators and guests to the event is FREE, so come cheer on your bravest participant!
*Fundraising is required by all participants. A minimum of $60 fundraising must be completed to participate. 100% goes directly to the Special Olympics. Donations over $20 will generate a tax receipt.
Win great prizes by fundraising!
When each participant successfully meets the $60 fundraising component for Hell in the Harbour they will automatically be entered into a chance to win a grand prize (to be announced)! For every additional $25 raised above and beyond the initial $60 raised, you will receive ANOTHER BALLOT for a chance to win. So THE MORE YOU RAISE THE BETTER CHANCE YOU HAVE TO WIN!!
Hell in the Harbour is proudly in support of Special Olympics Ontario in partnership with the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
